Just in for quick top off of nitrogen for my tires. Very reasonable price and friendly customer service. Would seek for a tire repair in future if needed. July 2025: Lost tire to close to edge for repair from puncture. Able to obtain same tire within two business days. Mounted and returned very quickly. Not big fan of debit and credit card fees passed onto the customer. Those are fees you can write off on taxes. Thanks for the great service again.

mike was a literal lifesaver with the after hours tire service. was stranded hours and hours from home on a sunday evening, no other options and mike got everything fixed right up and was meticulous in making sure everything was situated correctly and that i was safe to continue to trip. highly recommend!

UPDATE MAY 2025: once AGAIN Mike and his crew have been the actual best! I reccomend this shop over any other place in SE Iowa. I've never had a bad interaction. I have had 3 vehicles, countless mishaps and several fixes in the last 4 years. Mike and his staff have gotten my vehicles fixed and running with honest prices and excellent service. Chelsea is excellent behind the counter handling phone calls and customers. I will never go anywhere else. Got my oil changed and a tire patched here. Mikes was FAST. Like shockingly fast. Also, super cheap rates. Mike's IS my place to take my car!!! I recommend them to everyone!!!

We had a blowout on the side of the road about 12 miles south of Ottumwa , Joe came out and swapped both back tires out within the hour and we were back on the road. 5 stars for Joe and Mikes tire and alignment. 10 out of 10 highly recommend.

This team is the best! Just moved to town and needed new tires. Went in on a Saturday expecting to need to come back on Monday. Not only did they have exactly what I was looking for at a great price, they worked me in that day with the installation. They were helpful and very courteous. Replacement of ball joints and rocker arms.took 3+ weeks to get in, took 3+ hours for labor. Did have to return next day to report loader noise. Told need replacement of bad bushings in one of the new ball joints.part was under warranty,got in next day took 1+ hour for labor. Not the first time for trusting my vehicle with Mike's.

Arrived in town and discovered my trailer tire had a cut sidewall and a bent rim. My dispatch/roadside support team called Mike's Tire with my issue. Mike and his team were waiting to greet me when I arrived. They had a spot where I could get my whole truck safely off the road right next to their shop and only 34 minutes later, I had new tire and rim installed and I was back on the road. Their shop and facilities are super clean and everyone was very friendly and professional. Highly recommend Mike and his team to get your tire problems solved and get you back on the road.

Updated Review: Mike's continues to be my preferred location for any automotive service they offer. The staff at the desk are welcoming and polite. The mechanic staff has always done a great job at pinpointing any issues THE FIRST TIME, explaining the what and why behind their suggestions, and aren't always trying to sell you an air filter replacement. I can't say enough positive things about Mike's. Original Review: Have been here 3 times in the past 12 months. Each time I've had a fantastic experience. The staff is EXTREMELY friendly, options for tires are presented with prices, and each item on the billing has been explained before I paid. I always call ahead to check, but have been in and out in about 20-30 minutes each time I've gone to Mike's. The customer waiting room is kept tidy, lots of magazines, and the vending machine takes cards. I came here after having an absolutely terrible experience with one of the major dealership's tire service in Ottumwa where was told the tires I wanted were in stock, but ended up waiting for nearly 3 hours with no explanation or apology. I left them and took a chance at Mike's. Glad I did.

I have made the mistake twice of taking my vehicle to other places: once for a new set of tires mounted and balanced and another time to get a lift kit put on. Both times I ended up at Mike's for him to fix the work I had paid others to do. Lesson learned, I only go to Mike's now. They are always honest, fair and competitively priced. Mike's has always been my go to for vehicle issues, but he really came through today. I was told by the business that repaired my car recently after a deer accident that I was in need of new tires. Considering I bought my car from them, I almost went ahead and let them do that. I figured I'd better call Mike for a second opinion and guess what, I don't need new tires at all. Being a 25 year old woman, I feel like my lack of knowledge with cars was used against me, but I'm so glad Mike helped me before I threw away all that money for no reason! My first time at Mike's. Expert service and fast (I didn't expect 9 tires installed to be done quite that quickly). Proper preparation of the wheels, which Goodyear dealer I purchased last set from did not do, appears to have remedied bad air leakage with previous set of Goodyear tires. I will definitely be going back there again.

I walked in, handed them my keys and was out with brand new set of tires in 45 minutes. Mounting, balancing, road hazard and lifetime rotation all included. Can't beat it.

Good prices, fair and honest, polite. Some dealers won't mount tires in wheels you bring in but he did (for a motorcycle). Didn't scrape up the wheels either. He couldn't quite match online prices, but pretty close. Will definitely be back in the future.

I took my 2004 Tahoe in for 4 wd service light and I can tell you I had a great experience at Mike's. All the mechanics were polite and respectful and the service was fast and informative. I was worried about finding a really good mechanic that I thought was honest and fast but I think I found a good one. I will be a loyal customer of his from here on and I highly recommend him to anyone. You won't be disappointed.
